The next New Moon is taking place in the sign of intelligent, mature and honest Aquarius, a sign of fixed quality and air element. This is a sign with an independent nature, freedom-loving, individual and extremely strong-willed. AQUARIUS defies tradition, ignores convention and wants to be challenged intellectually, while in personal relationships it values personal freedom above all else. If you do not respect this, then you will come across as stubborn and inflexible behaviour.

Aquarius is the eleventh sign of the Zodiac, a sign associated with progressive ideas, futuristic concepts, increased social awareness, and because it is ruled by Uranus, this is a sign that likes to experiment mostly with goals of higher ideals and universal awareness. A fair, intelligent and objective sign, with an occasional tendency to dogmatism.

This New Moon is also called the Super New Moon because the Moon’s orbit is closest to Earth and that is a symbol of strength, health and joy. MERCURY is direct in quincunx with MARS, and the NEW MOON makes a sextile with JUPITER, the bearer of good chances and conjunct PLUTO, the great transformer. VENUS and SATURN are in semi-sextile with NEPTUNE, and URANUS stations direct just after the lunation itself on January 22 at 11:58 PM, at 14° Taurus 57'D. What a relief!!! After four and a half months of Push me to pull you, we will manage to slowly return to some relative normalcy, whatever normal means in general. Probably the new normal is to have good health, stable income and enough time to spend in nature.
